Pac-Man: the arcade icon since 1980
Released in 1980 by Namco, Pac-Man is the most recognizable arcade game in history: a maze, some dots, four ghosts (Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde), and a rule that can be summed up in a single sentence. More than 45 years later, the franchise is more alive than ever. The Just For Games Shop brings together a selection of officially licensed Bandai Namco Pac-Man products here, from the mini handheld console to the arcade cabinet.
My Arcade Pac-Man mini consoles and miniature cabinets
This is the heart of the universe. The Micro Player PRO Pac-Man reproduces the original cabinet in miniature, and the Nano Player PRO does the same in a pocket-sized format. For gaming on the go, there is the Pocket Player PRO and the Pixel Pocket Pro. To recapture the feel of the arcade, the Joystick Player Portable.
These models also exist in a Ms. Pac-Man version, with its own mazes and more unpredictable ghosts. For collectors, the Pocket Player Max and the Mighty Player celebrate the 45th anniversary of the franchise.

Frequently Asked Questions about Pac-Man
Which Pac-Man console should I choose?
For gaming on the TV, the Atari 2600+ Pac-Man Edition (HDMI output). For a mini cabinet to put on a desk, the Micro Player PRO or the Mighty Player. For gaming on the go, a Pocket Player PRO, a Nano Player PRO, or the Pixel Pocket Pro, which clips onto your keys. What are the names of the ghosts in Pac-Man?
Blinky (red), Pinky (pink), Inky (blue) and Clyde (orange). Each has their own behavior: Blinky pursues, Pinky anticipates, Inky is unpredictable and Clyde wanders.
What is the difference between Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man?
Ms. Pac-Man (1982) adds four different mazes, moving fruits, and ghosts with less predictable behavior. Many players consider it the best version. Both exist as My Arcade mini consoles.
How old is Pac-Man?
Pac-Man was released in arcades in Japan on May 22, 1980. The franchise celebrated its 45th anniversary in 2025, hence the My Arcade 45th Anniversary editions in our Pac-Man universe.
How to play Pac-Man?
Eat all the pac-dots in the maze while avoiding the four ghosts. The large pac-dots make them vulnerable for a few seconds: this is the time to eat them to score points. The fruits that appear in the center provide bonuses.
