You play as an emissary of the Scorched Queen , tasked with reclaiming the wilds and revealing the forgotten secrets of a world destroyed by the Cataclysm. Your goal: build a thriving network of colonies to power the Burning City , the last bastion of civilization.
Against the Storm distinguishes itself from classic city-builders by introducing a roguelite structure: each expedition pushes you to build new settlements while retaining the resources, upgrades, and experience you've acquired. Even if a settlement falls, progress continues.
