Conceived as part of the 20th anniversary of the cult video game Chrono Cross, Across the Worlds is an album of arrangements officially licensed by musical rights holders Septima Ley and Procyon Studio.
Released in 1999 in Japan and in 2000 in English-speaking countries on PlayStation, Chrono Cross is the spiritual sequel to the very popular Chrono Trigger, released in 1995 on Super-Nintendo.
The story takes players on an extraordinary journey through different worlds and eras, with a wide range of characters. Its music, entirely composed and arranged by Yasunori Mitsuda, is widely considered one of the best video game music of all time!
