Cotton Reboot! High Tension! is the latest game in the long-running Cotton series

These classic "cute 'em ups" have been around since 1991, the year the first installment was released in Japanese arcades. As in the past, you play as the young witch Cotton accompanied by her faithful (?!) fairy Silk. The original game received a modern remake called Cotton Reboot!, and Cotton Reboot! High Tension! is its natural sequel and evolution. Magical!

A FESTIVAL OF HORIZONTAL ACTION There are two types of shoot 'em ups: vertical or horizontal scrolling. Cotton Reboot! High Tension! belongs to the second category. You control the witch Cotton on her broom, shooting forward or using bombs against enemies on the ground. Your opponents are numerous and formidable, but Cotton's firepower is not to be underestimated. Fight with courage and victory will be yours.

POWER OF CRYSTALS: When you eliminate enemies, they drop yellow crystals. If you shoot them before picking them up, they change color. Colored crystals allow you to upgrade your elemental spells. But that's not all! By shooting through crystals to hit enemies, you fill a special gauge that activates Willow Fever mode.

OVER TENSION! Where does the subtitle High Tension come from? It's linked to the main mechanic of the game! In Willow Fever mode, collect Willow candies to enter Over Tension mode. In this state, enemy attacks become more violent, but you can use powerful hidden magic to increase your score. To get the maximum score, it is essential to master Over Tension. Good luck!
