It's 199X. A nuclear war has devastated New York City, and the few survivors try to eke out an existence in the riot- and crime-ridden streets. The city is controlled by criminal gangs who terrorize the survivors and fight for domination. Refusing to accept this life any longer, Billy and Jimmy Lee decide to rid their city of these gangs.
Experience the early days of the iconic Double Dragon brothers as they face new enemies and familiar faces in this alternative story. In this new roguelite installment, each session is a new chance to dive into even more action. Featuring a unique dynamic level system, mission difficulty will adapt based on the order in which you play them.

ROGUE-LITE BEAT 'EM UP: Discover an infinite array of gameplay possibilities thanks to the dynamic mission selection feature. The order in which you choose your missions will affect their duration, the number of enemies, and the overall difficulty. Choose how to upgrade your characters with random upgrades purchasable at the end of each mission, or save your money to revive them during the mission.
13 UNIQUE PLAYABLE CHARACTERS: Start the adventure with Billy, Jimmy, Marian, and Uncle Matin. Earn tokens to unlock 9 other characters, each with unique strengths and playstyles. Strategically choose your duo of fighters by analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of each character.
CUSTOMIZE YOUR EXPERIENCE AND REWARDS: Adjust the game's difficulty to change the amount of tokens earned per session and use them to unlock content in the Token Shop, such as characters, tips, etc. A modifier can be used to activate permadeath or infinite mode.
