Merregnon Studios and Laced Records have teamed up once again to engrave on wax the breathtaking orchestral music of the Final Symphony concert programs.
The original Final Symphony program explores the music of some of the most beloved historical Final Fantasy titles, with the score primarily composed by Nobuo Uematsu. Roger Wanamo and Jonne Valtonen have created stunning arrangements, including a tone poem from Final Fantasy VI and a full symphony based on the unforgettable score of Final Fantasy VII. Final Fantasy X co-composer Masashi Hamauzu has returned to that score to create a stormy piano concerto.
The album was recorded in 2014 at Abbey Road Studios with the London Symphony Orchestra and pianist Katharina Treutler.
