Build palisades, expand structures, and transform your gord from a modest settlement to an impressive fortress. However, the rise of your gord will not be easy! Your people are constantly threatened by enemy tribes, horrible monsters, and mysterious powers that lurk in the surrounding forest.
Gord’s versatile quests will have you venturing beyond the walls of your village, whether to stop a plague from happening or to solve a personal problem for one of your subjects. The main story objectives will govern your journey, while side quests and random encounters will send you into the wild to hunt legendary creatures, uncover the secrets of the Ancients, or stem a terrible calamity. Expect the unexpected.
You will have access to a wide range of scenario options. Try to win! Choose the easy way or prefer an impossible challenge: almost everything can be modified! Choose from many main objectives, select the size of the level, the intensity of the raids, the game environment, the type of opponents to face, the starting resources and even the weather conditions! Of course, don't forget the Horrors.
A healthy population is the key to survival in Gord. Every aspect of your colonists' lives, from illness to starvation to the death of their loved ones, can have an impact on the health level of each individual subject. Keep a close eye on them, because when they reach a critical point, they will collapse or flee your authority.
Please the gods with your prayers and they may grant you access to their spellcasting abilities. Some spells are offensive, others are defensive, but all will aid you on the battlefield. Hide areas from your opponents, control menacing creatures, or unleash unholy rage upon all who dare oppose you.
The Chronicle tells the story of the world of Gord, where real Slavic legends and a dark fantasy world mix. Torn pages from the Chronicle are scattered across the game's landscapes, creating an additional challenge.
