Mushihimesama (“Bug Princess” in English) is a vertical shooter set in a beautiful fantasy world.
Huge insect-like creatures called Koju roam the forest outside the village of Hoshifuri.
When Reco's people succumb to a mysterious illness, the young princess decides to leave the village and meet the Koju God, who may provide a cure.
Riding her faithful friend Kiniro, a golden beetle, Reco must cross the Shinju forest, braving hostile landscapes and aggressive Koju beasts.
A visually stunning shoot'em up and the thrill of a Bullet Hell from genre masters CAVE.
Explore a fantastic world with superb HD graphics. Take on a variety of giant “Koju” insects across 5 stages, including a scorching desert, lush forests and a serene cave. CAVE's signature “bullets” create a stunning visual impression, with iconic patterns unfolding with every boss encounter!
Play the definitive shooter from the legendary developers who pioneered the bullet hell genre! By reducing the size of the player's impact zone, Mushihimesama is able to challenge the player with some of the most intriguing and innovative shooting patterns in the shoot'em up genre.
